A shop charge is added to all repair bills to cover the cost of consumables such as lubricants and cleaning supplies. All equipment left for over 30 days will be charged a storage fee of $25. Any special order parts will require a 25% deposit.

We can fix it, bring it into the shop. (usually under $20). Beware of fixing this part yourself. The pulley is spring loaded and can be sharp, or hard to handle.
Most mowers are worth fixing. We keep track of prices and we are happy to consult you on available options and we offer estimates. If your mower costs more than half it's value to fix we might direct you toward buying a new mower.
Old gas is the most common cause of engine failure. When gas is older than 2 months it can go bad. (you can tell by the smell, but don't smell too deeply) Old gas can rot the diaphragms in the carburetor which control the flow, and pump the gas through the carburetor and to the engine. To solve this problem SES offers carburetor rebuild service, or diaphragm kits for the do-it-yourselfer.
Water in the gas tank is a common cause of engine failure. Water can collect in the tank from rain, sprinklers, and condensation. Empty out the gas tank and fill with fresh gas. If this does not work you should bring the machine in for carburetor service.
